Seeking Volunteer Leaders to Shape Our Theatre’s Future

Have you ever thought about getting more involved with PSP leadership?

Do you value live theatre as part of your local community?

Do you want to help define the future of community theatre in Pacifica?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, WE NEED YOU!

PSP is in desperate need of dedicated volunteers who are interested in taking a leadership role to help us rebuild as we recover from our recent flooding and emerge from the pandemic.

While PSP has always been an entirely volunteer-run organization, the number of volunteers left running the theatre in 2022 is currently smaller than ever. At the same time, the world has become a considerably more complex and challenging place to create theatre. As a result, we’re left with too few people to confidently and safely produce an entire season of live theatre the way we used to.

We need people like you to help us tackle these challenges. Without more volunteer support, we simply won’t be able to continue making theatre for our community.

We’re looking for community members who would like to join our small but dedicated leadership team here at PSP as we reimagine how to bring live theatre back to our stage here in Pacifica.

Volunteer Interest Meeting, March 16 at 7:30 PM – 1050 Crespi Dr, Pacifica, CA 94044

If you are interested in volunteering in any capacity, please join us for an in-person meeting at the theater on Wednesday, March 16th at 7:30 PM to learn more about our needs.

We’re hoping to recruit people who might be interested in developing and leading committees or initiatives, including:

  • Project managing flood repair and rebuilding process
  • Helping create a new season structure, including a self-produced performance model
  • Recruiting creative staff and managing productions
  • Leading our marketing and social media efforts
  • Developing new inclusive and regulation-compliant production structure
  • Researching available grants and creating a grant application calendar
  • Planning and executing fundraising events
  • Coordinating with local businesses for sponsorship opportunities
  • Updating our patron database and donation records
  • Continuing our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion efforts

We truly have never needed volunteer support more than we do now. If you are interested in giving your time, please click here to fill out our volunteer interest form and attend next week’s meeting if you are able to.

Thank you so much for your support. If you have any questions about these projects, please reach out to our Board President, Cat Imperato by emailing cat@pacificaspindriftplayers.org.

Thank you for helping to keep PSP alive!
