Asylum improv has been bringing comedy to Pacifica for 20 years! Fifteen of those years have been right here at PSP. Asylum offers improvisational workshops and performances all year round.

We perform several live shows each year, usually following each PSP production. We perform a smorgasbord of games and scenarios, most based on audience suggestions, as we create scenes, characters, and entertainment right on the spot, just like they do on the television show "Whose Line Is It Anyway?"

We also perform a half-hour show each Friday night at 10pm on the local cable station, Channel 26. We tape two shows at the studio every other month. While not live, this show allows us to further hone our improv skills and play our favorite games. Our show is also broadcasted to other cable channels in San Mateo County. In fact, Asylum shows were the first ever be sent out to these other cable channels!
