Theatre in the Woods: Outdoor Performance COVID-19 Notice

Pacifica Spindrift Players’ upcoming theatrical staged readings are being presented outdoors in order to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission, and we are asking patrons to further support our efforts to keep our artists and other audience members safe in the following ways:

  • BYOC (Bring Your Own Chair): We are asking patrons to bring your own preferred seating arrangements, and not to share your seating with others outside your household or social bubble. This may include folding chairs, beach chairs, blankets, etc. The paved seating area will be clearly marked to identify where patrons can place their seats, allowing for adequate physical distance between parties.
  • Face Covering Requirement: All volunteers and patrons are required to wear a face covering at all times when possible (with brief exceptions for eating and drinking). Please note that our performers will also be wearing face coverings at all times except while directly delivering their lines, and will be seated > 15 feet from audience members (and a minimum of 6 feet from each other) to protect public safety.
  • Please stay home if you experience any possible symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, chills, cough, nasal congestion, sore throat, chest pain, breathing difficulty, loss of smell, or stomach upset), or have had direct contact with someone with COVID-19, at any time in the 14 days prior to the date of the performance.
  • Accessibility Notice: Parking: While we are asking patrons, volunteers and performers to park in the lower parking lot (since much of the upper parking lot will be reserved for the performance and seating areas), a limited number of ADA accessible parking spots will be available in our upper lot. We also invite drivers to consider dropping off members of their party off at the top of the hill and then parking in the lower lot.
  • Accessibility Notice: Restrooms: PSP’s restrooms will be available for use by performers and patrons if needed, with socially distanced line markings in the lobby. Please note that the ADA-accessible route to the restrooms from the performance area (parking lot) utilizes the paved road from in front of the theater to the ramp behind the theater. We will have a limited number of volunteers available to physically assist patrons with mobility concerns from the performance area to the ADA-accessible restroom entrance.

Concession Pre-Sale and No-Touch Pickup

  • PSP is happy to announce pre-show ordering and pickup of all concession items! If you utilize our pre-order option, your items will be delivered to you in your car when you check in at the bottom of the hill.
  • You will also have the opportunity to order from your phone during the performance, and then pick up your purchased items at our outdoor concession table.
  • In order to protect patron and volunteer safety, our concession menu will be limited to pre-packaged, single use items including soda, water, chips, and candy. Coffee and tea will not be available at this time. Due to licensing restrictions, beer and wine will not be sold at this event.
  • In addition to snack and beverage items, PSP is also excited to offer individual hand sanitizer bottles and cotton face masks for interested parties.
