Special volunteer positions needed at PSP!

Hi all. For the 2007 season we are looking for some special volunteers to fill 3 very special positions at PSP. Please respond to these “job” descriptions to our Production Manager if they look like fun to you!

1 - High School Internship Coordinator:
Arrange to contact and meet with drama teachers at Terra Nova High School and Ocean High School to inform them of PSP season and offer opportunities for students to learn acting and technical theatre through real live play production experience. Coordinate with them for students to earn community service hours for their work at PSP. Be sure that both schools always have up to date season brochures and production flyers for all shows throughout the year.

2 - Pacifica Seniors Coordinator:
Arrange to contact and meet with managers of our local senior housing complexes on Oddstad and Crespi and keep them informed of the PSP season and all productions. Distribute promotional materials at these complexes. Also, meet with senior coordinator at the Pacifica Community/Senior Center (through PB&R) to build a relationship in order to distribute and post promotional materials at the Center. We would also like to arrange to coordinate one matinee per show that specifically hosts our seniors complete with shuttle service, if possible.

3 - We also need a good writers for our “Callboard” ! We have a template all ready that you can use, and we will send you stories. We just need someone to put it together once per quarter or so.

And we are always looking for people who want to play backstage as tech crew, stage managers and builders.
