Cast & Production Team Bios


Cast Bios:

  • Jason Bustos (Ben) is happy to be back at PSP and a part of this production. His prior credits include: The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (PSP), Other Desert Cities (PSP), and Boxcar (Teatro Vagon) and was last seen at Coastal Rep in Noises Off. He wants to thank his family and friends (and especially his amazing girlfriend) for putting up with his theatrical shenanigans and his friends for supporting, and in many ways encouraging, his tomfoolery.
  • Will Livingston (Kenny) is a Bay Area based actor. He is thrilled to be making his Pacifica Spindrift Players debut! Recent credits include Justin in Heroes of the Fourth Turning (Los Altos Stage Co.), Wayne Hopkins in Puffs (Palo Alto Players) and Daniel Cavanaugh in Chinglish (Plethos Productions). Originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, he holds degrees in Drama and Psychology from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Much love to his friends and family!
  • Louis Schilling (Frank) first trod the boards on the PSP stage twenty years ago in The Foreigner and has appeared in more than a dozen shows since including It Can’t Happen Here, Other Desert Cities, Father of the Bride, I Hate Hamlet and Inherit the Wind. Favorite roles include “Father Flynn” (Doubt), “Otto Frank” (Diary of Anne Frank), “Sir Arthur Sullivan” (Sullivan and Gilbert) and “Austin Sloper” (The Heiress).
  • Michelle Skinner (Sharon) is thrilled to be making her debut at PSP! She was last seen in Significant Other at Los Altos Stage Company. Michelle is a graduate of UC Irvine, and the acting program at South Coast Repertory. Other credits include: Bright Star, The Play that Goes Wrong, and One Man, Two Guvnors (Palo Alto Players), Sense & Sensibility (TheatreWorks Silicon Valley), The Marriage of Bette & Boo (Costa Mesa Playhouse), and Carrie: The Musical (Western Stage).   • Heather Skelley (Mary) is thrilled to be back onstage at PSP after working behind the scenes for the past few years. Heather has performed on various stages around the Bay Area. A few of her favorite roles include: Norma (aka Jane Roe) Roe (Los Altos Stage Co.), Brooke Other Desert Cities (Pacifica Spindrift Players), Chelsea On Golden Pond (Coastal Repertory Theatre). Production Team Bios:

  • Steve Bologna (Director) is thrilled to return to direct at PSP and to the theatre after a long hiatus. His credits at PSP include “Other Desert Cities” and “No Exit” (which was sadly canceled due to the pandemic). Steve has worked as a local actor, director, fight choreographer, and playwright. Bologna has worked for several Bay Area theaters, including N.C.T.C, Coastal REP, Palo Alto Players, Ray of Light Theatre, and San Francisco Playhouse, to name a few. Steve holds an M.A. in Drama (Directing and Dramaturgy) and a B.A in Theatre Arts (Acting) from San Francisco State University. He recently earned an MFA in playwriting, during which he published his Italian American satire “Eureka Station”. Additionally, Steve served as Artistic Director at Breach Once More Theatre Company for over a decade. He is a proud member of Actors Equity Association, a devoted husband, and Papa to Aria!
  • Audra Batter (Stage Manager/Costume Designer)
  • Alexis Orth (she/her) (Technical Director, Set Designer Dresser, Props Designer and Builder) has her BA in Theatre Arts from New York’s Bard College, an honorary degree in prop making from San Francisco’s Koinonia University, and her Master’s degree in Theatre from Virginia’s Regent University. She strongly identifies with PSP’s aim for inclusivity within its creative works. She values the inclusion of the marginalized, fully embraces volunteerism that brings transformation, and continues to create a legacy for a love of theatre. PSP’s need for a Technical Theatre Director with a dramaturgical mindset brought Alexis on board in 2022. Her experience includes scenic, props, lighting, and set dressing work with Cal Shakes, the San Francisco Dickens Christmas Fair, Brava for Women in the Performing Arts, Marin Theatre Company, more. As a multi-disciplined artist onstage and backstage, she believes in the theatre’s amazing life-changing power and has the arc welder to prove it. Her finest accomplishments are her love for Jesus Christ and her outstanding family: Paul, Chloe, Jude, & Kelly Orth.
  • Carson Duper (he/him) (Lighting Designer) has designed theater and motion picture lighting in the Bay Area for well over 20 years. He has worked at PSP, Presidio Theater, Marin Country Day School, Archbishop Riordan HS, Pacifica Spindrift School for the Performing arts, Burlingame and San Francisco Scottish Rite Temple, VPAC, the Smithwick and Lohman Theatres at Foothill/DeAnza Community College and more. He loves PSP and has been an integral part of our theater community since 2010.
  • Tanya Marie (Assistant Director) is thrilled to be making her PSP debut! A Boston native and recent transplant to the Bay Area from Paris, France, Tanya has worked internationally in film, television, radio, voice-over and theater. Some regional credits include: August: Osage County, Cat On A Hot Tin Roof, Persuasion, The Postman Always Rings Twice (San Jose Stage Co.); Oskar (TheatreWorks); Oslo (Los Altos Stage Company); Henry V (African-American Shakespeare Company), For Honor (dir. Lee Sankowich), Café Winnipesaukee (dir. Academy Award winner, Ernest Thompson). International work includes: A Collection of Stories (Word for Word, French Tour, dir. by Susan Harloe); Ballerina/LEAP! (animated feature, Paris, dir.
