Virtual Audition Workshop Saturday, July 11

Have you been wanting to jump into the world of remote video auditions, but aren’t sure where to start? Please join Pacifica Spindrift Players for a workshop dedicated to helping you get started in the world of virtual auditions!
In anticipation of PSP’s upcoming virtual General Auditions for its 2020-2021 season, we welcome all interested community members to participate in a brand-new Zoom workshop focused on how to create an amazing video audition – both technically and theatrically. Learn from Steve Bologna (recent director of PSP’s hit production of Other Desert Cities) the techniques for successfully auditioning in a “normal” theatre world, as well as online and video submission tips that will help you create a winning remote audition for any theatre.

The cost to attend the workshop is $10, and PSP welcomes any additional donation that participants might be willing to offer to help support the theatre during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Please also note that if the $10 fee presents a barrier to attendance, we invite you to reach out to Artistic Director Doug Greer (doug@pacificaspindriftplayers.org) to discuss the possibility of a fee waiver.

About the Instructor: Steve Bologna is a working director, actor, and playwright in the Bay Area. Since 2012, Steve has served as Artistic Director to the theater group Breach Once More, and he is a guest lecturer and recruitment officer at San Francisco State University. Holding professional credits as a stage actor and voice-over artist, Steve is an active member of Pacifica Spindrift Players, where he directs productions as well as PSP’s New Works program. Steve’s new play Eureka Station is in development, and will premiere with a staged reading this fall.
