CAST BIOS
Karla (Veronica) is delighted to be back with Pacifica Spindrift Players. Past appearances include Rumors (Spindrift) and collaborations with Masquers Playhouse, Plethos Productions, and Ferocious Lotus. She has a soft spot for characters with quick tongues, big feelings, and questionable beverage choices. Special thanks to BBD for our nickname.
Rob Hedges (Michael) has appeared in more than 50 productions on the Coast, and was last seen in The Book of Will. He was also in PSP’s 2016 production of God of Carnage, and is happy to be on the other side of the clafouti this time. Other credits include Inherit the Wind, Harvey, and Twelve Angry Jurors (PSP); Bus Stop, Sense and Sensibility, and Dancing at Lughnasa (Coastal Rep); and The Taming of the Shrew, Twelfth Night, and The Tempest (Half Moon Bay Shakespeare). Love to Sara, as ever.
Cat Imperato (Annette) has been a member of the PSP community for over a decade, both behind the scenes (as a board member and producer) and as a performer, including roles in PSP’s The Prom (“Angie”), Gypsy (“Rose”), City of Angels (“Alaura”), and the 2017 production of Cabaret (“Fraulein Kost”). Other favorite roles include “Sarah” in Company at Coastal Rep and “Rosie” in Mamma Mia! at RCCT. A Bay Area native and graduate of UCSD’s Department of Theatre and Dance, she lives with her incredibly patient family in Pacifica, and spends her limited free time creating excessively detailed decorated sugar cookies.
Aaron Seymour (Alan) is a Bay Area native who’s lived most of his life in SF. In 2017 he made the decision to embrace his lifelong love of theater and began auditioning. He’s been fortunate to perform at a number of theaters including CRT, The Altarena, The Exit, The Eclectic Box, Potrero Stage and here at The PSP. During the Pandemic he did 3 staged readings and live streamed “A Christmas Carol” from PSP. But he is particularly proud to be a part of this show, with its gifted, creative and generous cast and crew and its juicy script. There are certain people that deserve special thanks (you know who you are) but, as always, the biggest thanks go to his wife, Marci.
PRODUCTION TEAM BIOS
Steve Bologna (Director) is a Bay Area–based director, actor, playwright, and fight choreographer, and the Artistic Director of the former Breach Once More Theatre. His work centers on emotionally charged, actor-driven storytelling that explores the tension between the American Dream and its unraveling. He holds a BA in Performance, an MA in Drama, and an MFA in Playwriting from San Francisco State University. He works across classical and contemporary texts, blending rigorous technique with a collaborative, ensemble-first approach. He is thrilled to return to PSP, where his directing credits include Other Desert Cities, Detroit, and No Exit (canceled due to the pandemic).
Heather Skelley (Stage Manager) is delighted to be working as the Stage Manager on this very familiar show (she played Veronica in the 2016 PSP production of God of Carnage). You may have seen her onstage around the Bay Area, over the past 10+ years. A few of her favorite productions include: Other Desert Cities (PSP), Roe (LASC), On Golden Pond (CRT). She has recently stepped into the Director role as well, The Book of Will (PSP), In The Next Room (Or The Vibrator Play) (PSP), In Our Own Words (at Potrero Stage). Thank you for supporting live theater and especially PSP. We wouldn’t be here without you!
Carson Duper (Lighting Designer)
Angela Boeldt (Props Designer) is ecstatic to be debuting in her first opportunity as Props Manager. This is her second production with Pacifica Spindrift Players and she is looking forward to many more. Her previous experience in costuming, prop construction, set building and lighting design comes from her 10+ years as a cosplayer as well as working with the theater departments at both Humboldt State and San Jose State.
Alexis Orth (Technical Director) has her BA in Theatre Arts from New York’s Bard College, a prop making degree from SF’s Koinonia University, and her Master’s in Theatre from Virginia’s Regent University. She values the inclusion of the marginalized, fully embraces volunteerism that brings transformation, and continues to create a legacy for a love of theatre. PSP’s need for a TD with a dramaturgical mindset brought Alexis on board in 2022. Her experience includes scenic, props, lighting, and set dressing work with Cal Shakes, the San Francisco Dickens Christmas Fair, Brava for Women in the Performing Arts, Marin Theatre Company, and more. As a multi-disciplined artist onstage and backstage, she believes in the theatre’s amazing life-changing power and has the arc welder to prove it. Her finest accomplishments are her love for Jesus Christ and her outstanding family: Paul, Chloe, Jude, & Kelly Orth.
Utkarsh Sanghi (Sound Designer & Producer) has been involved in theatre as an actor for as long as he can remember. From being in commercials and amateur plays in his youth, to representing his school at the Singapore Youth Festival. After taking a break in his 20s to focus on his career in finance, Utkarsh is thankful to PSP for the opportunity to come back to theatre. Utkarsh is excited to learn more about the business side of running a local theatre and to support the local arts community in Pacifica. As a board member, Utkarsh hopes to aid in the long term sustainability of PSP and to contribute more to the back office of our local theatre.
Kristen Pearson (Costume Designer & Producer)
