2020-2021 Season

Vanya & Sonia & Masha & Spike

Directed by Walter M. Mayes

September 25 to October 11, 2020

Siblings Vanya and Sonia have never left the confines of their childhood home, while their sister Masha has been traveling the world as a successful movie star. Masha and her hot young boy toy, Spike, pay a surprise visit to the household. The generally quiet household is thrown into disarray as its inhabitants are caught up in the possibility of escape.

Directed by Debi Durst

November 6 to November 22, 2020

At a large, tastefully-appointed Sneden’s Landing townhouse, the Deputy Mayor of New York has just shot himself. Though only a flesh wound, four couples are about to experience a severe attack of Farce. Gathering for their tenth wedding anniversary, the host lies bleeding in the other room, and his wife is nowhere in sight. His lawyer, Ken, and wife, Chris, must get "the story" straight before the other guests arrive. As the confusions and mis-communications mount, the evening spins off into classic farcical hilarity.

She’s an organized, sensible psychologist. He’s a free-spirited, unemployed ad exec. She is a crossword pro, he always quits. When he tosses his puzzle away, she snaps, "Crosswords are a metaphor for life, those who finish, succeed, those who don’t, fail." Now he vows to finish. Why?  He’s a competitor and she happens to be lovely.

Full of heart-wrenching passion, Streetcar is 20th-century American theatre at its finest.  It tells the story of a neurotic and fragile Southern belle, Blanche DuBois, whose faded gentility clashes with her sister Stella’s gruff and brutish husband, Stanley Kowalski, precipitating a tragic downward spiral.

A fabulously fun award-winning musical based on the adored movie, the show follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes and scandal in pursuit of her dreams. Action-packed and exploding with memorable songs and dynamic dances – this musical is so much fun, it should be illegal!
